Intermittent Compression Therapy

This is the fastest growing treatment modality as it provides for a more acceptable long-term maintenance option. More research on this treatment modality is needed, but preliminary results show that this could be the mainstay of lymphoedema therapy in the near future. (Brennan et Al) The main reason is that it makes the patient independent of the therapist although the therapist normally guides therapy.
